Letter from the Chairperson

Dear SAIDI members, fellow driving instructors, Government officials, Politicians, members of the public, media, pupils and friends, Our website is up and running at last!  Driven by the need to find learner's and driver's licence appointments, members asked for a petition.

Here it is!

Please sign it and send it to everyone struggling with the situation, even those who eventually qualified as legal drivers.

Hope you enjoy reading what we have included on the website.

Please put your name on the mailing list and send us your comments.

We hope that this site will be a valuable means for everybody to communicate.

We want to keep you informed.

We want to work together to find solutions to the many difficulties we are all facing.

I hope the Government will see that we are not all corrupt, fly-by-night driving instructors, but sincere and dedicated to putting good drivers on South African roads, and in fact in all the world.

May we rise to the challenge of constantly improving our knowledge and of sharing that knowledge and skill with our students.

May every student we produce be a credit to the country and the economy as well as their own family and friends.

My sincere thanks to the brave members who sent in contributions.

We are launching our new website

The time has finally arrived for us to unite against the bad quality of service from the Test Centres.

You should understand that this is the time that we can now stand together and make a difference.  However we cannot do this without your support. 

With this email, we are launching our new website and we are very excited, even though its still in the infant stages we've already put a lot of information there to give the Test Center a kick-in-the-bad-service-delivery.

Please browse to our website  and before you do anything else, type your email address in the sign me up box and clicking on the submit button.  By law we are not allowed to send you emails and updates if you have not registered to be included in those updates - once you have done so, we'll soon be sending you more updates on current issues and status updates on our petition action.

The information surrounding our petition against the bad service quality given by the Call Center to make a booking can be accessed from the top page of our brand new website.  Look for the "SAIDI.CO.ZA Petition" link.

Peruse the details of the petition and if you are interested in voting in favour of our petition, you can follow the SAIDI Petition hyperlink to a third party website - they present better facilities to petition and you may remain anonymous at all times.

What is SAIDI.CO.ZA planning to do next?

From a technical perspective we are interested in creating a site-login for SAIDI members to present them with some extra functionality.

In a marketing sense SAIDI.CO.ZA would like to involve all its members with a small space where they can advertise their driving school on our website*.

We want to include pricing information and contact information.  This is to assist anyone who visits SAIDI.CO.ZA to have the latest information on making a booking, or to inform the public if any changes were made to the booking methodology.

We have compiled some information position ourselves as a website that represents the interests of the public, SAIDI members and driving instructors.
